What are the Top Law schools in Canada

Studying for a law degree is both a challenging and rewarding pursuit. On one hand, the programs offered by Canadian law schools are long and arduous; on the other hand, however, any law graduate can quite reasonably expect a successful and well-paid career.

There are about 20 Canadian schools that offer programs in law, and some of them have been recognized for their excellence both in the country and around the world.

University of Victoria Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria is one of the most respected higher education institutions in the country. The university has been consistently ranked as one of the top law schools in Canada by the Canadian Lawyer magazine, taking first place for the years 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005.

About 105 students are enrolled at the school every year. LSAT is the required admission test, and in recent years, students have had to score at the 89th percentile (i.e., 162 to 164) to be accepted for studies.

The Faculty of Law offers a Law co-op program, which allows students to combine terms on work placements with scholastic terms once they complete their first year of study.
